City on the Roof Festival: Vertical Zoetrope

The City on the Roof Festival curated by the Pavlov Media Center in Gronignen, NL brought together artists and architects from all over the world for months long collaboration to create extended landscapes on the cities rooftops.
I created a vertical zoetrope was created by placing a 200m print on the outside of a glass elevator. The design from the print was created using abstractions of the view from the top of the Regentes building where it was installed. Once on the roof viewers were able to create musical compositions with a series of interactive sculptures that remixed sounds from the cities landscape.
